what are your art habits?

do you sketch at a certain time or always with a certain theme or goal in mind, or whenever and whatever you feel like? do you always sketch before you start a finished drawing, or do you dive right in and still manage to finish stuff? how do you approach doing your art?
i don't really have any art habits anymore and waiting til i feel like drawing obviously isn't going very well haha. so i want to borrow from other people's art rituals and see if they work for me o3o
